BotSplit manages logfiles from multiple sites. It can treat aliases as the same site so that crucial information is not lost when the domain name changes yet the visitor is still within the same set of files.
It has unparalleled facilities for separating robots (bots) and humans, allowing you to see how your site is behaving with both type of visitor. For example, a human calling up your pricing page is a much different event than a robot performing the same action.
BotSplit uses domain name reduction to analyze visitor patterns where the same visitor uses related IP addresses, even days apart.
BotSplit has built in peg-counter statistics which are useful for following trends. It also writes out human and robot log files so that you can use your existing analysis software to investigate each of these visitor sets.
